It seems so long ago now but a little more or less than 30 years ago home deco was full of natural textures and colours. I remember growing up with a very modern style home that my dad had renovated into a family entertainment style home as his finances grew. I remember as you entered the front Door made of solid red wood you immediately were facing a textured wall made with small multi coloured brown stones today I’m not even sure this still exists. The rest of the house was textured walls with a light coat of paint and finished off with wooden ceilings and in the entertainment room a lot of wood tiled walls with stone floors as well as wooden ceilings. They looked so Chic back then, well at least I thought so. Neat and professionally done. This was the Interior Deco style of the 80s and 90s.
